Obituary of Josette Joiner

Funeral services for Josette Joiner, age 83, of Carrollton, Georgia, will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 12 noon (Central time) from Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. William Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. Ms. Joiner will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday. Ms. Joiner died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Eatonton Health and Rehab, Eatonton, Georgia. Survivors include two daughters, Andree Mason of Peoria, IL and Beatrice Josette Simone of Eatonton, GA; two sons, Douglas Reavely of Douglasville, GA and Jerome Joiner of Carrollton, GA; one brother, Bernard Fere of Paris, France; and seven grandchildren. A native of Paris, France, Ms. Joiner was born September 15, 1929, daughter of Alfred Emile and Anna Julie Lauteard Colrat. She had worked as an LPN with Bowdon Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Henriette Carlotti and Jeanine Colrat.
