Funeral services for Dorothy Johnson Gay age 95 of Graham will be held Sunday April 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Don Gay officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Gay passed away Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Traylor's Nursing Home.
Mrs. Gay is survived by one son Don (Judith) Gay of Elmore; Seven grandchildren, Eighteen Great-Grandchildren and Eight Great-Great Grandchildren; a special niece and nephew Wylene and Pate Morrison of Bynum; Several nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
Mrs. Gay was born June 23, 1917 the daughter of Charlie and Carrie Thomas Johnson. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bruce Gay, one son Max Gay, one granddaughter Kelly Railey, one grandson Tyler Crowder, one sister Emma Shoffiett and one brother Coy Johnson.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Saturday April 6, 2013 from 6 till 8 PM.
