Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Mildred Hall Steed age 88 of Wedowee will be held Saturday April 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Frank Rasbury and Bro. John Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Steed passed away Wednesday April 24, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Steed is survived by one son Phillip Lane Steed of Wedowee; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Nelson, Danny Stewart, Brent Mccaghren, Lynn Bain, Ken Steed and Wayne Wortham.
Mrs. Steed was born April 8, 1925 the daughter of Marvin and Bernie Dodson Hall. She was a homemaker and a member of Morrison Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lewis Lane Steed, three sisters and one brother.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Friday April 26, 2013 from 6 till 8 PM.
