Obituary of Beatrice B. Daniel

Funeral services for Beatrice Brown Daniel, 86, of Woodland, will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. from Mt. Carmel Church of Christ with Bros. Ricky Murphy and Allen Daniel and Rev. David Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013. Mrs. Daniel will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning. Mrs. Daniel died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Tanner Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, H.E. Daniel of Woodland; one daughter, Lisa Pearson of Winston, GA; two sons, Clayton Daniel of Woodland and Alan Davis of Dallas, GA; two sisters, Peggy Eidson of Wedowee and Mona Herren of Woodland; two brothers, Carey Brown of Swansea, SC, and Paul Brown of Woodland; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Alan Davis, Josh Davis, David Knighton, Derek Pearson, Ashley Jones, and Austyn Jeffcoat. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Daniel was born on July 12, 1927, the daughter of Charlie Brown and Opal Kirby Brown. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ and was a homemaker.
