Visitation for Walter Don McLeod, age 72, of Roanoke will be Friday, August 23, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee.
Mr. McLeod died Wednesday at his residence.
Survivors include: three sons, Marty McLeod of Alpharetta, GA; Andrew McLeod of Luthersville, GA; and Kirk McLeod of Ranburne, AL; two grandchildren; one sister, Effie Mae Wortham of Bowden, GA; and two brothers, Ed McLeod of Waleska, GA, and Joe McLeod of Newell, AL.
A Randolph County native, Mr. McLeod was born on September 2, 1941, the son of Walter Frank and Lois Johns McLeod. He was an Army veteran and had been self-employed in insurance sales. Mr. McLeod was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
