Graveside services for Marilyn Crowder, age 74, of Cragford will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Randolph Memory Gardens with Chris Gay and Pastor Jamie Taylor officiating and Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.
Ms. Crowder passed away Monday, October 21, 2013, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.
Survivors include: two daughters, Nikki (Chris) Gay of Cragford and Rhonda Crowder of Carrollton, GA; two sons, Steven Crowder of Nigeria and Michael Spicer of Hephzibah, GA; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Crowder of Roanoke; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Tuttle of Covina, CA.
Pallbearers will be Luke Gay, Daniel Crowder, Walt Albright, Alex Warren, Daniel Johnson, and Daniel Land.
A Reno, Nevada native, Ms. Crowder was born on March 1, 1939, the daughter of Walter and Loretta Nichols Dunham. She was a receptionist at Wedowee Middle School. Ms. Crowder was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild Steven Tyler Crowder, two sisters and two brothers.
