Obituary Notice

Funeral services for Jennifer Dawn Young Smith age 38 of Woodland will be held Wednesday November 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Bain, Rev. Stephen Dedman and Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Smith passed away Sunday November 17, 2013 at Wedowee Hospital.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters Alexis Young and Emma Smith both of Woodland; her parents Ronald O. and Shirley Smith Young of Boaz; her paternal grandmother Katherine Young of Oxford; one sister Gina Christian of Albertville and one brother Jamie Young of Anniston.

Pallbearers will be Scott Young, Kerry Smith, Monty Cantrell, Kenneth McManus, David Edwards and Gary Edwards.

Mrs. Smith was born September 25, 1975 the daughter of Ronald Oneal and Shirley Smith Young. She was a seamstress for Breman-Bowden Investment Company and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Betharee Snyder, her maternal grandfather Nathan J. Smith and her paternal grandfather Perry Young.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Tuesday November 19, 2013 from 5 till 8. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
