Funeral services for Renice Ann Barnes Strain, age 58, of Woodland will be Friday, December 27, 2013, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Allan Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Church of Christ Cemetery in Woodland.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2013.

Mrs. Strain passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Wedowee Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Ted Strain of Woodland; one daughter, Tracy Strain of Roanoke; one son, Corey Brandon Strain of Navarre, FL; and three grandchildren.

A Carroll County native, Mrs. Strain was born on December 7, 1955, the daughter of Austin and Frances Traylor Barnes. She was a weaver at Mohawk Industries. Mrs. Strain was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Scotty Wayne Strain.
