Funeral services for Myrtle Bradbary, age 94, of Ranburne will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013, at 2:00 PM from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Couch Whitley and Kris Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-700 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee and from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ranburne.

Mrs. Bradbary passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Oaks of Carrollton in Carrollton, Georgia.

Survivors include: one daughter, Eudell (husband, Tillman) Gibbs of Ranburne; one son, Linton "Pete" (wife, Rhonda) Bradbary; three sisters, Jerry Graham, Virginia Mayfield, and Betty Phillips; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Bradbary's grandsons and great-grandsons.

A Cleburne County native, Mrs. Bradbary was born on July 19, 1919, the daughter of Tom and Evie Richardson Farlow. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Ranburne and was a housewife. Mrs. Bradbary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene "Gene" Bradbary; three sisters, Eva Cole, Myrtice Potter, and Essie Cole; and one brother, Earl Farlow.
