Obituary of Jason Michael Parker

Obituary Funeral services for Jason Michael Parker, age 45, of Dallas, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at 2:00 PM from First Baptist Church of Wedowee with Rev. Cade Farris officiating. Burial will follow in Wedowee City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Mr. Parker passed away Saturday, February 14, 2014, in Dallas, Georgia. Survivors include: one daughter, Brooke Hannah Parker of Dallas, GA; one son, Dalton Gibson Parker of Dallas, GA; his parents, Michael and Connie Parker of Wedowee, AL; paternal grandmother, Lela Bell Warren of Newellton, LA; and one brother, Sean Christopher Parker of Newnan, GA; Pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church of Wedowee. A Savannah, Georgia native, Mr. Parker was born on November 10, 1968, the son of Michael and Joan Connie Creed Parker. He was a Desert Storm Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of First Baptist Church of Wedowee, and was a bank manager at Fidelity Bank. The family is accepting flowers or, in lieu of flowers, suggests donations be made to the building fund at First Baptist - Wedowee.
