Obituary of Cermilla C. Richardson

Obituary Notice Funeral services for Cermilla C. Richardson age 100 of Woodland will be held Monday March 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Highway Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Jason Owens, Rev. Vernon Willis and Rev. Donald Spradlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Highway Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Richardson passed away Saturday March 1, 2014 at Traylors Nursing Home. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday March 2, 2014 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. Mrs. Richardson is survived by three daughters Wilma Bowen of Roanoke, Jessie Kennedy and Patsy Boykin both of Woodland; four sons Belmon Richardson of Merritt Island, Fl., Roman M. Richardson and Raymond Richardson both of Woodland and Billy Richardson of Roanoke; twenty grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and twenty-eight great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Randy Richardson, Rodney Richardson, Tommy Richardson, Jeff Richardson, Tony Richardson, Mark Richardson, Davey Bowen, Billy Joe Green, Billy Richardson Jr. and Shane Mitchell. A Randolph county native Mrs. Richardson was born October 21, 1913 the daughter of Howard and Elizabeth Crenshaw. She was retired from the Randolph County School System in food service. She was a member of Highway Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry Richardson, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six sisters and one brother.
