Funeral services for Donald C. Wright, age 72, of Wedowee will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014, at 1:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Hammett officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2014.
Mr. Wright passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include: one daughter, Amanda Wright of Wedowee; two grandchildren; and one sister, Sara Petty of Wedowee.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Wright was born on September 22, 1941, the son of William Comer and Una Clyde Foster Wright. He was Methodist by faith and a retired bus driver with the Randolph County Board of Education. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Alishia DeJesus; one sister; and one brother.
