Wayne Vernon Cushing, age 60, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014, at his residence.
Survivors include: one niece, Sara Tilley; one nephew, Will Cushing; and two brothers, Lewis Cushing of Heflin and Albert Cushing of Newell.
A Bowdon, Georgia native, Mr. Cushing was born on August 16, 1954, the son of Jessie and Alma Miles Cushing. He was a member of Potter's House Church and was a carpenter. Mr. Cushing was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Cushing; brothers, Jimmy Archie and Dale Cushing; and a nephew, Brandon Cushing.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
