Funeral services for Huey Haynes Noles, age 82, of Wedowee will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014, at 11:00 AM from Big Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Mr. Noles passed away Friday, September 19, 2014, at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation in Lineville. Survivors include his wife, Curtis Moon Noles of Wedowee; two daughters, Cindy Earnest(husband, Johnny) and Sharon Daniel(husband, Ricky), both of Wedowee; six grandchildren, Sabrina Earnest Voss, Ryan (wife, Kaydie) Earnest, Calan Daniel, Addison (wife,Megan) Daniel, Lance Daniel, and Braxton Daniel; one great-grandchild, Justin Voss; two sisters, Sue Cantrell of Roopville, GA, and Dianne Craft of Roanoke; and three brothers, Dewey Noles of Lake City, GA, Gervis "Stub" Noles of Woodland, and Charlie Ray Noles of Omaha. Pallbearers will be Ryan Earnest, Calan Daniel, Addison Daniel, Lance Daniel, Braxton Daniel, Justin Voss, and Tim Noles. A Randolph County native, Mr. Noles was born on October 8, 1931, the son of Madison and Lillian Harris Noles. He was a member and Deacon of Big Springs Baptist Church, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Newell Road Builder. Mr. Noles was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill Noles and Cecil Noles; and one sister, Mary Wyl Spradlin.
