Mr. Sikes was one of my favorite teachers. He was an awesome American History Teacher. We learned history by putting on historical plays in front of the student body at RCHS. We had so much fun and learned so much about history that year! He and Mrs. Sikes always made me feel welcome when I went home with Anita. Mr. Sikes will be missed by my entire family!
I do not know this special individual but I do know Sam. I don't know the connection between the two but maybe it is his friend, or grandfather...I know he shall be missed by many of his former students, friends and family!!

I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Sikes not only as a teacher but also as a fellow member of the First United Methodist Church in Wedowee. He was one of the best people I have ever known. May Fred, Ron and my life-long friend Anita feel God near as they mourn the loss of this good man.
