Obituary of Rob Hunt

Funeral services for Rob Hunt, age 47, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 1:00 PM from Rocky Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Thursday, February 5. Mr. Hunt passed away Monday, February 2, 2015, at Wedowee Hospital. Survivors include his parents, Lee and Barbara Hunt of Roanoke; two sisters, Rhonda Neff and Tammy Rhea, both of Roanoke; two brothers, Chris Hunt of Newnan, GA, and Thomas Haynes of Roanoke; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Richard Neff, Ryan Neff, Tyler Watts, Conner Hunt, Kyle Hunt, and Charles Donnally. A Florida native, Mr. Hunt was born on October 18, 1967, the son of Alden Lee and Barbara Hendrix Hunt. He was Baptist by faith and was a manager for McDonald’s. The family is accepting flowers or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Benefield Funeral Home for Mr. Hunt’s funeral expenses.
