Judy, don't know if you remember me. I went to school in Wedowee through the 6th grade with Miss Louise Wright as my teacher. My brother, Jerry Kirby graduated with Judy--Ithink the year was 1955. We moved to Ga. at that time. My grandparents were Boyds and were members of the Methodist Church there until their deaths.
Sorry to hear about your sister. My brother Jerry died in 2010. Still miss him.
Praying for you and your family
Sincerely,
Joan Kirby Johnston

Sydney and family, JoAnn was a very special lady to me, she walked the Christian walk and fought the Good fight. Her love of others and her devotion to you and your family was inspiring to many that knew her. Her commitment to the church and the community was a testament of how one should live. As a husband and best friend you must be extremely proud. Her smile was a delight to see on a daily basis. I will miss her dearly. I want you to know how much her passing pains me. It is my sincere statement to have had the opportunity to have learned from her way of caring for others. It was a privilege to me that I had the opportunity to have called her a friend. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My prayers will always be with you and your Family.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Joann's passing. She gave cancer a long hard battle. She was such a sweet person that I greatly admired. I will never forget how supportive she was of me when I was going through cancer treatment and that meant so much to me. I will always have fond memories of my times with her. I will be remembering you all in my prayers. Bev

JoAnn will always stand out in my mind as an example of what it is like to walk in the love of Jesus Christ. She was so loving, kind, patient, compassionate, caring, and happy and etc.. Seeing her push through the pain and weakness when she was sick was a testament to the strength of this petite little lady. JoAnn and Sid were so beautiful together and complemented each other as God intended a union in heaven should. These two wonderful people will always stand out in my mind as the example of what I would strive to be like. JoAnn will be missed tremendously but I know that she is rejoicing today in the arms of her loving Savior. We can only dream of the day we will be in fellowship with this wonderful saint again. We love you Sid and will be praying for you and your family.
God Bless,
Wayne and Toni Sisk

Dearest Sid and family,
Joel and I are so sorry to learn of JoAnn's passing. She will be greatly missed by all of us who knew her. We just absolutely adored JoAnn so much. Anything we could say about how wonderful she was would only pale in comparison to her true person. We are praying for you all at this very difficult time. If there is any comfort at a time like this, is that everyone who knew JoAnn, knew her love for Jesus and that she lived her faith every day. That is exactly how God intended us to be. There are jewels in her crown!
We love you, Sid. You will be forever in our hearts and on our minds.
May the Peace of Christ be with you,
Joel and Teri Williams

I will always remember the many kindnesses and thoughtfulness of this great lady. JoAnn was an inspiration to so many, in so many different areas. It is difficult knowing that I will not see her again in this life, but I know she is in the arms of God and Jesus, and her suffering has ended.
My sympathy goes out to her family. How blessed you were to have her all those years. How blessed we all were! May God's Love comfort and sustain you now and forever.
