Obituary of Hughdy Lee Henry

Funeral services for Hughdy Lee Henry, age 58, of Ashland will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lamar Rollins officiating. Burial will follow at Clay County Memory Gardens with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Mr. Henry passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015. Survivors include: one son, Jason Scott Henry of Alabama; two sisters, Berdie Cox and Julie Walls of Woodland; two brothers, Frank Henry of Delta and David Henry of Heflin; ex-wife, Susie Henry of Ashland; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Frank Henry, Christian Terrell, Daniel Terrell, Curtis Ramsey, Tinker Edmondson, and Jeremy Walls. A Cleburne County native, Mr. Henry was born on April 23, 1957, the son of Hugh Lindsey and Alma Vaughn Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
