Funeral services for Frances Molden Sims, age 69, of Wedowee will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 1:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Zion Rest Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Mrs. Sims passed away at Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. Survivors include her husband, Douglas Sims, Jr., of Wedowee; one daughter, Kathy Trammell of Wedowee; one son, Douglas Lamar Sims of Wedowee; one stepson, Anthony Trammell of Dayton, OH; five grandchildren, Adrian Sims, Douglas Lamar Sims, IV, Deja Marie Sims, Kylan Sims, and Caleb Thomas Sims; a great-grandchild, Dominic Sims; two brothers, Steve Molden and Billy Molden, both of Atlanta; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Sims was born on January 12, 1946, the daughter of Charlie and Annie Lou Wilson Molden. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress for Lamar Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Catherine Molden, Faye Foster, Delois Molden Walker, and Debra Molden; and three brothers, Charlie Ford Molden, Gary Molden, and Jimmy Molden.
