Obituary of Randy Wilson

Funeral services for Randy Wilson, age 57, of Woodland will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 2:00 PM from East Napoleon Church of Christ with Bro. Billy Prince and his nephews officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2015. Mr. Wilson will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Tuesday. Mr. Wilson passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Survivors include: two sisters, Lutricia Preston (husband, Mike) of Carrollton, GA, and Donna Curvin (husband, Richard) of Woodland; and one brother, Billy Wilson (wife, Genice) of Woodland. Pallbearers will be Brent Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Brian Preston, Cody Preston, Jason Mitchell, Jeremy Stanford, Ridley McManus, and Johnny Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Mitchell and Chandler Mitchell. A Randolph County native, Mr. Wilson was born on July 26, 1958, the son of Lamon and Lucille Hanner Wilson. He was a member of East Napoleon Church of Christ and worked as a carpenter for SWB Construction. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Phillip Wilson.
