Funeral services for Johnny Jackson Bonner, age 57, of Wedowee will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
Mr. Bonner passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Anita Bonner of Wedowee; one daughter, Tricia Bonner of Denver, CO; one son, Chris Morris of Salisbary, NC; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Marlene Carson of Roanoke; and one brother, Eddie Bonner of Rock Mills.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Bonner was born in Bowdon, Georgia, on April 26, 1958, the son of Doys Edward and Gloria Swancey Bonner. He worked as a truck driver for Southeastern Truck Line. Mr. Bonner was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
