Funeral services for Pruett Herman Colley, age 89, of Newell will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Dwayne Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Bowen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2015.
Mr. Colley passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Eddie May Colley of Newell.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Bowen, Sammie Bowen, Jason Gorman, Stephen Akins, Andrew Runfola, and Dan Lukstein.
A Birmingham native, Mr. Colley was born on March 31, 1926, the son of Will and Flora Brasher Colley. He was a member of Jordan Chapel Cong. Methodist Church and worked as an uncoiler for Jim Walter Homes. Mr. Colley was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.
