Memorial services for James Eric “Jim” Gunnells, age 56, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wedowee with Rev. Cade Ferris, Gary Hollingsworth, and Ricky Daniel officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, December 26, 2015.
Mr. Gunnells passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, in Lafayette, Alabama.
Survivors include: one daughter, Dayley Gunnells of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and loved ones, Ricky and Sharon Daniel of Wedowee and their children, Calan, Addison & Megan, Lance & Taylor, and Braxton Daniel.
A Calhoun County native, Mr. Gunnells was born on December 29, 1958, the son of James and Hazel Gray Gunnells. He was Baptist by faith and worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner for Tanner Medical Group/Woodland Clinic. Mr. Gunnells was preceded in death by his parents.
