Obituary of Regina Pate Autrey

Funeral services for Regina Pate Autrey, age 57, of Wedowee will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donald Spradlin and Rev. Kenneth Langley officiating. Burial will follow at Midway United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Ms. Autrey passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Survivors include: three daughters, Misty Henderson, Kristie Bassett (Otis Roundtree), and Gabby Autrey, all of Wedowee; three sons, John Henderson (Tonya) of Roanoke, Toby Traylor (Anna) of Woodland, and Cody Traylor (Jessica) of Sylacauga; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Susan Garrett of Woodland, Kathy Peek of Roanoke, and Martha Cook of Wedowee. Pallbearers will be Robert Garrett, Jarred Morsch, Greg Pugh, Tyler Henderson, Nick Potts, Rocky Cook, Scott Craven, and Billy Richardson, Jr. A Randolph County native, Ms. Autrey was born on August 2, 1958, the daughter of John Clemert and Frances Geraldine Craven Pate. She was Methodist by faith and was a homemaker. Ms. Autrey was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Benefield Funeral Home for Ms. Autrey’s funeral expenses.
