Funeral services for Dall Samuel Lipham, age 76, of Newell will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Billy Morris and Bro. Greg Arrington officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30-7:00 PM on Monday, January 11, 2016.
Mr. Lipham passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Lovvorn Lipham of Newell; one daughter, Marla Arrington (husband, Greg) of Woodland; one son, Martin “Marty” Lipham (wife, Marla) of Clemson, SC; two grandchildren, Noah Arrington and Nathan Arrington; and one sister, Shirley Rollins (husband, Russell) of Woodland.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Lipham was born on December 1, 1939, the son of Woodrow Wilson Lipham and Thelma Jeanette Creed James. He was a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church and worked as a salesman for Wesley Benefield Ford. Mr. Lipham was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Maxine Wakefield.
