Funeral services for Cheryl Diane Gore, 68, of Woodland will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 1:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2016.

Mrs. Gore passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Golden Living Nursing Home in Oxford.

Survivors include: three sons, Gerald Lynn Gore, Jr., of New Jersey, Kenneth Allen Gore of Venice Beach, FL, and Michael Wayne Gore of Woodland; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Hutcheson of Stateville, NC.

A Sarasota, Florida native, Mrs. Gore was born on February 15, 1947, the daughter of Riley and Eunice Diana Maus Proctor. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and worked as a dietician for Manatee Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gerald Lynn Gore, Sr.
