Obituary of Michael Ross Lowe

Memorial services for Michael Ross Lowe, age 76, of Wedowee will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 before the service begins. Mr. Lowe passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, after a six month battle with cancer. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Lowe of Wedowee; one daughter, Lisa Henriott (Phil) of Peachtree City, GA; one son, Steven Lowe (Sharon) of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Nicole, Kathleen, and Ashley; one sister, Aleta Moorhead of Chipley, FL; cousin, Mary Ann Baltzer of Elmore, AL; and a host of cousins. A Montgomery native, Mr. Lowe was born on August 19, 1939, the adopted son of Lincoln Ross and Ruth Fiddler Lowe. He was Methodist by faith, a United States Navy veteran, and worked in customer service for Eastern Airlines for 27 years.
