Obituary of Angela Holloway Traylor

Graveside services for Angela Holloway Traylor, age 63, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Mt. Grove Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Billy Puckett officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2017, before services begin. Ms. Traylor passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017, in Wedowee. Survivors include: one son, Robert Traylor (wife, Tonya) of Oneonta; five grandchildren, Patsy Leona Traylor, David Matthew Traylor, Victoria Alexie Traylor, Joby Lee Traylor, Jr., and Rosie Burks; her mother, Virginia Holloway of Roanoke; two sisters, Virginia Delores Benefield of Five Points and Brenda Dale Payne of Roanoke; one brother, Chuckie Holloway of Wedowee; and special friend, Bobby Adamson of Wedowee. Pallbearers will be Tony Pool, Eric Payne, Tony Burks, and Gary Boyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Patsy Leona Traylor, David Matthew Traylor, Victoria Alexie Traylor, Joby Lee Traylor, Jr., Rosie Burks, Taylor Pool, Summer Sudduth, and Kate Sudduth. A Randolph County native, Ms. Traylor was born on October 5, 1953, the daughter of Floyd L. and Virginia Brown Holloway. She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and worked in respiratory therapy at Wedowee Hospital. Ms. Traylor was preceded in death by her father and one son, Joby Lee Traylor.
