Obituary of Larry D Huddleston

Funeral services for Larry Dale Huddleston, age 68, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Davis, Rev. Larry Conger, and Rev. Charles Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30-8:00 PM on Friday, February 17, 2017. Mr. Huddleston passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Huddleston of Wedowee; two stepdaughters, Shelia Ring of Roopville, GA, and Keyla Davis of Newell; two stepsons, Brandon Sheats of Woodland and Jason Sheats of Ranburne; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rebecca Manning of Opelika; and two brothers, Earl Huddleston and Gerald Huddleston, both of Wedowee. A long-time Randolph County resident, Mr. Huddleston was born in Anniston, Alabama, on March 2, 1948, the son of Millard Franklin and Eula Mae Cofield Huddleston. He was a member of Caver’s Grove Christian Church and was self-employed. Mr. Huddleston was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Cressel Wallace, two brothers, Brewer and Neal Huddleston, and one stepson, Greg East.
