Obituary of Linda Robinson Baldwin

Funeral services for Linda Robinson Baldwin, age 79, of Wedowee will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Highway Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Benefield officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-2:00 PM on Friday, May 5 before services begin.
Ms. Baldwin passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Clay County Nursing Home in Ashland.
Survivors include: one brother, Mac Baldwin (wife, Susan) of Wedowee; and two sisters-in-law, Myrtis Baldwin of Roanoke and Myrtice Baldwin of Woodland.
Pallbearers will be Brian Baldwin, Jerry Young, Cliff Phillips, Hiram Baldwin, and Kyle Baldwin.
A Roanoke native, Ms. Baldwin was born on June 27, 1937, the daughter of Hiram Dewey and Mattie Sue Robinson Baldwin.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Roanoke, retired from the United States Marine Corps, and worked at the VA Hospital in New Orleans. Ms. Baldwin was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Sylvia B. West, Faye B. Young, and Helen B. Stewart; and three brothers, Lewis V. Baldwin, Edwin B. Baldwin, and Hiram J. Baldwin.
