Funeral services for Brandon Devon Lane, 27, of Wedowee will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Craig McClure officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

Brandon departed this life on Friday, August 25, 2017.

He leaves to cherish many loving memories to his parents, Jacquline Lane of Wedowee, AL, and Tony Ray Westbrook of Oxford, AL; one sister, Tiffany Yvette Lane of Wedowee; his grandmother, Alice Delaney of Heflin, AL; two nieces, Yshun Laney and Kamora Wright of Wedowee, AL; a nephew, Jayvon Laney of Wedowee, AL; a very special cousin, Tiara Lane; five uncles, Karo Delaney (Tasha), Lamar Westbrook (Cynthia), Terry Westbrook (Michelle), Robert Bailey (Catherine) of Wedowee, and Roy Westbrook (Jackie) of Birmingham; and two aunts, Eris Houston and Helen Westbrook.

Brandon Devon Lane was born on July 17, 1990, to the parents of Jacquline Lane and Tony Ray Westbrook.  Brandon graduated from RCHS in 2009.  He was a proud and faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served faithfully until the Lord called him home.  Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Doris Lane and grandfather, Bobby Joe Houston.
