Obituary of Jacqueline Langley Yates

Funeral services for Jacqueline Langley Yates, age 79, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Napoleon Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017. 

Mrs. Yates passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Tanner Hospital in Carrollton, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, Mac Yates of Woodland; one daughter, Alesia and Robert Woodard of Douglasville, GA; two sons, Chris Yates of Woodland and Alan and Patti Yates of Hiram, GA; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Narvelle Duke of Hogansville, GA; and one brother, Noah Prince Langley of Carrollton, GA.

Pallbearers will be Alan Yates, Chris Yates, Gregory Randolph, Brannan Woodard, and Cal Prince.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Yates was born on July 10, 1938, the daughter of Noah A and Una Prince Langley.  She was a member of Napoleon Church of Christ and worked as the business manager for John Bleakley Ford.  Mrs. Yates was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
