Obituary of Charlie Will Terrell

Funeral services for Charlie Will Terrell, age 62, of Wedowee, will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Craig McClure and Rev. Sylvester Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

Mr. Terrell passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at East Alabama Medical Center.

Survivors include: three daughters, Denise Glenn of Michigan, Karren Turner (David) of Wedowee, and Brandy Drummonds of Wedowee; two sons, Christopher Parker (Telma) of Sylacauga, AL and Charles Parker (Sandra) of Mississippi; 23 grandchildren; his father, Charlie Will Parker, Sr. and his mother, Lurline Parker; his companion of 22 years, Joanna Carr; four brothers, Wayne Parker, Jessie Parker, Rev. Sylvester Parker, and Billy Ray Parker.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Terrell’s nephews.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Terrell was born on March 12, 1955, the son of Charlie Will Parker, Sr. and Lurline S. Andrews Parker. He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.  He was preceded in death by his son, Chad Parker and brother, Jimmy Parker.
