Obituary of Janie Beck Saxon

Funeral services for Janie Beck Saxon, age 90, of Graham, will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 2:00 PM (CST) at Pine Hill Christian Church with Rev. David Daniel officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00-6:00 PM (CST) on Saturday, January 6th.

Ms.  Saxon passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Tanner East Alabama.

Survivors include: three daughters, Wanda Harrington (husband, James) and Paula Wood both of Graham and Sharon Sprayberry (Johnny) of Newnan; one sister, Dorothy Iverson of Oxford; six grandchildren, Stacy Suddeth (Michelle), Matthew Harrington, Leigh Ann Paz, Ashley Suddeth, and Faith Harrington; five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Davy Spratlin, Ricky Spratlin, Gilbert Iverson, Dustin Iverson, and Jordan McCormick.

A Randolph County native, Ms. Saxon was born on December 22, 1927, the daughter of Ernest J. and Mary Lois Yates Beck.  She was Christian by faith and had been self-employed as a homemaker.  Ms. Saxon was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Brooksie Iverson; 2 brothers, Charles Beck and Bobby Beck.
