Obituary of Sheilah Hall Beasley

Sheilah Hall Beasley, age 70, of Wedowee passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018.  The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28, 2018, from 3:00-5:00 PM (CST).   A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 1:00 PM (CST) at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Hammett officiating.

Survivors include: one daughter, Heather Shead (husband, Terry) of Villa Rica, Georgia; two grandchildren, Chelsea Shead and Jackson Shead; and one sister, Joan Harley of Bowdon, Georgia.

A Douglasville native, Mrs. Beasley was born on October 26, 1947, the daughter of Thomas Phelps and Norah Sybil Gray Hall.  She was Baptist by faith and a retired truck driver for Daymark.  Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Mervin “Turkey” Jackson Beasley.
