Obituary of Jimmy T. Wright

Funeral services for Jimmy T. Wright, age 69, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, February 2, 2018.

Mr. Wright passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, at Noland Hospital in Anniston, Alabama.

Survivors include: four sons, Jerome Wright of Carrollton, GA, Phillip Wright, Jimmy Lamar Wright, and Anthony James Wright, all of Wedowee; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Betty Barsh of Wedowee and Lera Robertson of Roanoke; and three brothers, David Wright of Wedowee, Charles Wright of Roanoke, and Anthony Wright, Jr., of Wedowee.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Wright was born on June 20, 1948, the son of Anthony and Velma Wright.  He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and worked as a brick layer.  Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents.
