Obituary of Joreatha Boggs Williams

Graveside services for Joreatha Boggs Williams, 68, of Alabaster will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Walter Hedstrom officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-1:30 PM on Saturday, May 26 before services begin.

Mrs. Williams passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Shelby County Hospital.

Survivors include one son, Tommy Boggs (wife, Kendal) of Opelika, AL; two grandchildren, Ben and Olivia; one brother, Aubrey Boggs, Jr., (wife, Melinda) of Alabaster, AL; and nieces and nephews, Shawn, Amanda, and Jason.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

A Columbus, Georgia native, Mrs. Williams was born on October 30, 1949, the daughter of Aubrey Boggs, Sr., and Thelma L. Boggs.  She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.  Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents.
