Obituary of Myrna Lowe

Funeral services for Myrna Elaine Lowe, age 88, of Woodland will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Bear Creek United Methodist Church with Bro. Jacob Wilkerson and Jeff Lowe officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.  Mrs. Lowe will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Wednesday.

Mrs. Lowe passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Arbor Terrace in Dacula, Georgia.

Survivors include: three sons, James Lowe of Lilburn, GA, Jeff Lowe of Woodland, and Mitch Lowe of Marietta, GA; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Lowe’s family.

A Nebraska native, Mrs. Lowe was born on November 12, 1929, the daughter of George and Sara Philpot Taylor.  She was a member of Bear Creek United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James W. Lowe; and 11 sisters and brothers.
