Obituary of Kimberly "Michelle" Greene

Funeral services for Kimberly “Michelle” Greene, age 48, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 12:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jeremy Pridgeon officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Ms. Greene passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mercedes “Cede” Nicole Chisolm of Spring Lake, NC; three sons, Kyle Alexander Greene of Roanoke, Kevin Lee Chisolm of Wedowee, and Matthew Jordan Greene of Lineville; her mother, Jackie Pridgeon Greene Watson (Austin); one granddaughter on the way, Avalynn Michelle Greene; one sister, Caleda Warden of Fayetteville, TN; and two brothers, Dewayne Greene of Gulfport, MS, and Jason Greene of Las Vegas, NV.

Pallbearers will be Astin Perry, Dallas Atkins, Terrell Atkins, Riley Warden, Mason Lipham, and Gabe Andrews.

A Blountsville, Florida native, Ms. Greene was born on October 24, 1969, the daughter of Elger Edward Greene and Jackie Pridgeon Greene Watson.  She was Christian by faith and worked as a hostess/waitress/manager at Charlie’s Catfish House.  Ms. Greene was preceded in death by her father.
