Obituary of Chief William C. Simpson

Chief William C. Simpson (Retired City of Palmetto Police Chief) passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was born July 8, 1930 to the late Lemon Shelley Simpson and Ester Landers Simpson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Simpson Kaye and is survived by his son, Mike Simpson of Forest Park; brother, Tommy Simpson and his wife, Nancy of Alexander City, AL; grandchildren, David Evans, Kara Vazquez, Taylor Simpson; 7 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 1 o’clock (CST) at Pine Hill Christian Church in 4014 Co. Rd. 92, Woodland, AL 36280.
