Ralph “Buddy” Madden, age 77, of Woodland, AL, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Tanner East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include his two daughters Joy (David) Brooks of Wedowee, AL, and Lisa (Mike) Llewellyn of Mobile, AL; two sons, James Waters of LaGrange, GA, and Scott Reynolds of Fort Wayne, Indiana; mother, Laurece Bryant Madden; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; special brother and sister, Wendall Young of DeFuniak Springs, FL, and Brenda Brazeal of Jay, FL; special nephew and hunting buddy, Lee Gay; four sisters, Sue (Hughie) Gay of Jay, FL; Beverly Jo (Donnie) Foster of Samsun, AL; Linda McCormick of Niceville, FL, and Mary Beth (Louie) Mullins of Niceville, FL; one brother, Donnie (Bonnie) Madden of Live Oak, FL.

A native of Florida, Mr. Madden was born November 25, 1941, the son of Ralph Mead Madden and Laurece Bryant Madden.  He was a member of Niceville Masonic Lodge and had been employed with Whiting Field Naval Air Station as a truck driver.  He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Janice Shaw Madden and sister, Barbara Joan Madden.
