Obituary of James Terrell

Funeral services for James Henry Terrell, age 40, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Elder Joyce White officiating.  Burial will follow at Wedowee City Cemetery

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2019.

Mr. Terrell passed away Friday, May 3, 2019, in Clay County, Alabama.

Survivors include: one daughter, Dejia Terrell of Wedowee; three sons, Avion “Tre” Terrell and Laden Terrell, both of Wedowee and Leontae Hendricks of Atlanta, GA

; one grandchild; his mother, Kathy Terrell Williams of Wedowee; his father, James Griffin of Bowdon, GA; one sister, Shantell Terrell of Wedowee; and two brothers, Joseph Goodwin of Wedowee and Terrance Smith of Bowdon, GA.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Terrell’s special brothers, friends, classmates, nephews and cousins.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Terrell was born on February 10, 1979, the son of James Griffin and Kathy Bailey Terrell Williams.  He was a member of Victory Cathedral Church and worked at Bremen-Bowdon Investments.
