Obituary of Lori Ann May

Funeral services for Lori Ann May, age 54, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Craft officiating.  Burial will follow at Wedowee City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 AM-12:45 PM on Sunday before services begin.

Ms. May passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at her residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Angela Packer; three sons, Tyler Cotham, Mike Carlson, and Brian Carlson, all of Illinois; her father, John Arrowood of Illinois; four grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Neal and Laura Settipane, both of Illinois; one brother, John Arrowood, Jr.; and her boyfriend, Phillip Hughes.

Pallbearers will be David Rainwater, Jeffery Wroski, Deonte Barrett, Timothy Houston, Kevin Wright, and Tim Bales.

An Illinois native, Ms. May was born on August 3, 1964, the daughter of John Arrowood, Sr., and Sharon Nemerow Arrowood.  She was a member of Bethel West Baptist Church and worked as a manager at Jack’s Family Restaurant in Wedowee.  Ms. May was preceded in death by her mother.
