Obituary of Hazel B. Puckett

Graveside memorial services for Hazel B. Puckett, age 76, of Wedowee, will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at 4 PM from Mt. Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Benefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Puckett passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019, at Clay County Nursing Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Milam (husband, Ben) of Wedowee; four grandchildren, Jeff Milam, Heath Puckett, Nichole Whaley (husband, Steve), and Josh Milam; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mrs. Puckett was born on October 22, 1942, the daughter of Dewey and Elila Pool Bozeman. She was a member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church and had worked as a CNA at Clay County Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Burlon Puckett; her son, Chris Puckett; and two brothers.
