Obituary of Loice James Henderson

Funeral services for Loice James Henderson, age 69, of Woodland will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Eason officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

Mr. Henderson passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include: two daughters, Christie Marlow of Bowdon, Ga, and Misty Henderson of Wedowee; one son, John Henderson of Roanoke; six grandchildren; two sisters, Brinice Holloway and Rinice Tanksley, both of Woodland; and two brothers, L. C. Henderson and Jimmy Henderson, both of Woodland.

Pallbearers will be Ray Henderson, Jeffery Henderson, Lane Henderson, Eric Henderson, Tyler Henderson, and Ethan Henderson.

A Randolph County native, Mr.  Henderson was born on December 28, 1949, the son of Monroe and Fannie Lou Brown Henderson.  He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and worked as a needle man at Trintex in Bowdon.  Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bobby Joe Henderson.
