Samuel Floyd Grimes, age 66, of Wedowee passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Grimes of Wedowee; one daughter, Cassandra Strain (Chris) of Woodland; one son, Samuel Grimes, Jr. (Haley; one grandchild; and one sister, Sarah Grimes-Emmons of CA.
A Ohio native, Mr. Grimes was born on June 15, 1953, the son of James Edward and Eva Rose Crouch Grimes. He was United Methodist by faith and worked as a machinist at Orlando Utility. Mr. Grimes was preceded in death by his parents.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
