Obituary of Pearlie B. Moore

Funeral services for Pearlie B. Moore, age 84, of Woodland, AL, will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 11:00 AM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Brian Moore and Bro. Edward Herren officiating. Burial will follow at East Napoleon Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Mrs. Moore passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at her home. Survivors include one daughter, Christie Wheeles (husband, Waylon) of Lineville, AL; one son, Tony Moore (wife, Ann) of Woodland, AL; four grandchildren, Brian Moore (wife, April) of Wedowee, AL, Rocky Moore of Anniston, AL, Garrett Wheeles of Lineville, AL, and Will Wheeles of Lineville, AL; three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Louise Noles (husband, Ted) of Woodland, AL and Nettie Brown of Woodland, AL. Pallbearers will be Mike Kirby, Nick Noles, Bobby Crenshaw, Garrett Wheeles, Scott Noles, and Steve Nobbley. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Wheeles and Beth Brown. A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mrs. Moore was born on September 18, 1935, the daughter of Burl Barney and Lula Jane Brown. She was a member of Ephesus Church of Christ and had worked as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, T.W. Moore; two brothers, Oscar and Barney Brown; and seven sisters, Ruby Dye, Eula Mae Arrington, Eva Seymour, Lela Madden, Dellie Nobbley, Willie Mae Ellis, and Ellen Noles.
