Obituary of Ena V. Herren

Graveside services for Ena V. Cofield Herren, age 94, of Woodland will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at 12:00 PM at Bethel East Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Scott Hannah officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Herren passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, at her residence.

Survivors include: one son, Frankie & Sandra Herren of Woodland; five grandchildren, Ted Arrington (Lisa), Cindy Roberts (Bobby), Greg Arrington (Marla), Don Arrington (Dena), and Samantha Harris (Bill); ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Arrington, Bradley Arrington, Brent Arrington, Bobby Roberts, William Harris, and Jason Harris.

A Woodland native, Mrs. Herren was born on April 26, 1926, the daughter of Jim and Eddie Rice Cofield.  She was a member of Bethel East Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress for Bowdon Manufacturing.  Mrs. Herren was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman Garfield Herren; daughter, Myrtie Lou Gosdin; infant daughter, Francis Jean Herren; grandson, Jason Herren; sister, Idel Tatum; and brothers, Amos, W. C., and Albert Cofield.
