Graveside service for Kathy Hodges Knight, 67, of Wadley will be held on Saturday, September 19^th, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Corinth Christian Church Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Cummings and Bro. Tim Whaley officiating with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Knight passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Traylor’s Nursing Center.

Survivors include her son, Wendell Knight (Amanda) of Wadley and one grandchild, Katelyn Knight.

Pallbearers will be Coleman Bailey, Justin Bailey, Randy Newman, Michael Caypless, Jon Freeman, and Jimmy Bennett.

A Chambers County native, Mrs. Knight was born on September 16, 1953, the daughter of R. J. “Junior” and Ida Macie McGill Hodges. Mrs. Knight was Christian by faith and was a member at Corinth Christian Church.   She worked as a dispatcher at Randolph County Sheriff’s Department and had also worked as a RN at Roanoke Healthcare and Roanoke Hospital.  Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be sent to Corinth Christian Church.
