Funeral services for Cary Madison Price, age 74, of Wedowee will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Henderson, Mr. Scotty Whaley, and Mr. Terry Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.

Mr. Price passed away Monday, September 21, 2020, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Whaley Price of Wedowee; daughter, Tracy Klein (Jon) of LaGrange, GA; son, Chris Price of Wedowee; grandchildren, Madison Sparks and C.J. Price (Jessi); four great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Henderson (Gary) of Lanett and brother, Gary Price (Martha) of Cragford.

Pallbearers will be C.J. Price, Madison Sparks, Donnie Grant, Jr., Scotty Whaley, Johnny Talley, and Terry Sparks.

A Wedowee resident, Mr. Price was born in Lee County on June 23, 1946, the son of Henry and Ellen Fombry Price.  He was a retired, self-employed carpenter.  Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jerry Price and Scott Price.
